Our group is specialised in the study of properties of magnetic nano-objects synthesized by organometallic chemistry. Several approaches are combined for these studies : magnetometry, micromagnetic simulations, transport measurements and magnetic hyperthermia measurements.

The basic properties of these objects are extremely intersting; they can have applications in fields such as magnetic recording, spintronics and nano-biomedecine. Several projects and collaborations of the team are linked to these three thematics.
We work in close collaboration with the Team "Nanostructures and Organometallic chemistry", who elaborate these objects, with the CEMES, Toulouse for their characterization by holography and with the LAAS, Toulouse, for the elaboration of devices by optic and electronic lithography
